Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Job Description :

As a CPU CAD Engineer, you will build and support the world’s best analysis tools and flows. Your tools and methodologies will ensure our custom CPUs achieve industry‑leading power, performance, and area (PPA).

Roles and Responsibilities

* Architect and recommend methodology improvements to ensure optimal silicon power, performance, and area.

* Maintain, support, and debug STA and timing closure (ECO) flows, and resolve project‑specific issues.

* Work closely with worldwide CPU Physical Design teams, providing methodology guidance and tools/flows support.

* Collaborate with EDA vendors to define tool roadmaps and resolve tool‑related issues.
