GTM Recruiter & TA Builder
Qdrant · Remote (EMEA) · People & Culture
Qdrant is an open-source vector search engine powering the next generation of AI applications, from semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to AI agents and real-time recommendations.
Trusted by global leaders like Canva, HubSpot, Tripadvisor, Bosch, and Deutsche Telekom, we’re building the retrieval infrastructure layer for modern AI. Recently raising $50M in Series B funding, we are growing rapidly and committed to transforming how AI understands and interacts with data.
As a remote-first company, we believe diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences fuel innovation. Here, you’ll own meaningful work, tackle challenges, and grow alongside passionate individuals dedicated to shaping the future of AI.
Hi 👋 I'm Gio, and I lead People Operations & Talent Acquisition at Qdrant. I joined in April 2026 to build the People function from scratch, and hiring is the first and biggest thing on the list.
I kicked off my career in data-driven recruiting and TA Ops to then embrace also the People Ops universe - I've implemented people systems, built analytics frameworks, and grown teams from the ground up. What drew me to Qdrant was the chance to do all of that in one place: build scalable people processes that are both efficient and genuinely people-centric, at a company doing something I find really exciting in the AI infrastructure space.
Right now the team is me and Paula, our People Operations & Data Analyst. The person joining us in this role will be our first dedicated TA person and will own the GTM recruiting side while helping us build the systems that make everything smarter. Not just a recruiter. Not just an ops person. Someone who's genuWe're ~100 people and growing fast. We're building out the people function from scratch, and Talent Acquisition is at the center of it.
In this role, you’ll own the full-cycle GTM recruiting while building the infrastructure that makes the team faster and smarter.
This is not a role where you execute a process someone else designed. You'll shape how we recruit - the systems, the intelligence, the candidate experience - from the ground up.
What you will own
Your first year will revolve around hiring and three main pillars:
Sourcing engine: Automated pipeline generation for hard-to-fill roles. Agents that surface qualified candidates proactively — before a role is even open.
Market intelligence: A living system that tracks competitor moves, candidate signals, and talent pool shifts in our key hiring markets.
Candidate experience: Every candidate who interviews at Qdrant should leave the process feeling valued, whether they get the job or not. You'll own the systems and culture that make it happen: experience metrics, hiring team enablement, and feedback loops that actually close.
You'll also be a core Ashby admin as we roll it out, shaping how we configure it, what we automate, and how we measure hiring quality.
Who you are
You have between 3 & 4 years of recruiting experience on GTM roles, in EU and US.
You can source, write a sequence, and close a candidate, but you're equally comfortable as a workflow builder.
You've built something with an automation tool or an AI model, and you can't wait to keep going. You've felt the friction of bad tooling and fixed it yourself instead of waiting for someone else to.
You know what a broken process feels like from the inside. You've felt the friction of bad tooling and fixed it yourself instead of waiting for someone else to.
You live in data: you track what's working, notice when it stops, and change the approach.
You know Ashby well enough to configure it, or you learn tools fast enough that it doesn't matter.
You're async-first by nature. You communicate clearly in writing (English) and don't need a meeting to make a decision.
This role is probably not for you if you need someone else to:
Run Boolean searches and talent mapping from scratch
Write and send outreach at volume
Prioritize your own workload when everything feels urgent
Navigate ambiguity and make decisions without a playbook
You don't need the title "Recruiter" or "Talent Partner" to apply. If you're a recruiter who builds things on the side, or a RecOps person who's done real recruiting, we want to hear from you!
Interview process
We keep our process simple and respectful of your time.
A 30-minute intro call with me (Gio): we'll talk about Qdrant, the role, and your background. I will remain your point of contact throughout the entire process.
A short practical exercise: we'll ask you to show us how you'd approach a real sourcing or ops challenge
A deeper conversation with me and Paula. We will also try to have you meet a GTM team member. We want you to get to know us as well!
A final call with Dominik, our Head of Finance, or another of our Leaders
