The Role
Proofpoint is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Analyst Relations Manager to join the Product Marketing organization. Reporting to the Director of Analyst Relations, this role will support and program and help manage key components of our global AR strategy.
You will play a critical role in strengthening analyst engagement, managing research and evaluation cycles, and ensuring operational rigor across the AR function. This role combines analyst interaction with strong cross-functional program management.
What You’ll Do
Analyst Engagement
- Support execution of the global AR strategy in partnership with the Director of Analyst Relations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key analysts (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, etc.).
- Coordinate and prepare briefings, inquiries, and executive engagements.
Evaluation & Research Program Management
- Program-manage major analyst evaluations (e.g., Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes), including timelines, submissions, and stakeholder alignment.
- Maintain the analyst research calendar and ensure proactive engagement.
- Track coverage, positioning, and sentiment across research reports.
AR Operations & Insights
- Own AR trackers, dashboards, and reporting metrics.
- Synthesize analyst feedback into actionable insights for Product, Marketing, and GTM teams.
- Drive internal alignment and post-evaluation learnings to continuously improve performance.
What You Bring
- 4–6+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, or related B2B technology role.
- Experience supporting or managing major analyst evaluations.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
- Cybersecurity industry experience preferred.
- Experience with Architech/ARinsights a plus.
- Experience with Gartner Peer Insights a plus.

Base Pay Range: 98,900.00 - 155,430.00 USDCalifornia (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:
Base Pay Range: 78,800.00 - 123,805.00 USDAll other cities and states excluding those listed above:
Base Pay Range: 70,400.00 - 110,605.00 USD
