We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with a passion for building amazing high-scale cloud infrastructure solutions. You will join our Cloud Engineering Group to drive the architecture, scaling, and optimization of our production environment.
About The Role
- Own production evolution and contribute to the vision and execution of our Cloud infrastructure roadmap for growing scale and business needs.
- Combine your software development expertise with infrastructure skills to design and build breakthrough, automated solutions for scale and self-service.
- Establish an AI-first driven approach, leading the development of agents to improve our observability, safeguards, self-service, ticket automation, and shift-left strategies.
- Proactively push for reliability improvements towards a 99.99% SLA and drive SaaS multi-tenant blast radius reduction.
- Be a mentor for other engineers in the group, helping them overcome difficult obstacles by simplifying design and fostering a high-performance culture of excellence.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in R&D to identify pain points, co-design solutions, and ensure strong impact.
- AWS (Multi-regional, multi-cluster environment), Kubernetes, ArgoCD-GitOps, Terraform, CDKTF, Helm, Node.js, Linux, Docker.
Requirements
- Previous technical leadership experience with a passion for crafting tools that engineers love.
- Strong hands-on coding skills with a deep understanding of software design patterns, ensuring our infrastructure is as robust and maintainable as our product code.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes cluster management, scaling, and managing AWS cloud-based environments.
- Experience operating in a large-scale SaaS company with complex production requirements.
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and a passion for building self-service tools in a high-paced CI/CD environment.
- Experience in developing or leveraging AI-driven agents and automation to improve infrastructure observability and efficiency.
- Ability to see the bigger picture, carrying out system architecture planning with an impact-driven and "can-do" attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
