from Microsoft careersMicrosoft has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in the Microsoft Specialized Clouds Power Platform team, focused on building, deploying, and operating Power Automate services within Air‑Gapped and Sovereign Cloud environments.
Power Automate is a foundational service within Microsoft Power Platform, enabling customers to automate workflows across applications, services, and data systems. In highly regulated and mission-critical environments, these capabilities must be delivered with strict requirements for security, compliance, reliability, and operational excellence.
This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and site reliability engineering (SRE). You will work on distributed systems that enable Power Platform services to function in isolated, air‑gapped environments, partnering with Public Cloud teams to bring features to parity while ensuring those features meet the constraints of sovereign deployments.
You will be expected to operate with a high degree of ownership—driving design, implementation, live-site operations, and continuous improvement—while contributing to a culture of automation, observability, and operational maturity.
