Project Title:

Data‑Driven Process and Equipment Optimization in Semiconductor Manufacturing
 

Project Description:

This internship provides exposure to data‑driven engineering initiatives within high‑volume semiconductor manufacturing. The project focuses on applying data analytics and engineering methodologies to study process stability, equipment performance, and manufacturing efficiency. Through analysis of large datasets generated from manufacturing tools, the intern will gain insight into real‑world semiconductor manufacturing challenges and improvement opportunities.
 

Objective of the Project:

The objective of this project is to apply data analytics techniques to identify trends, variability, and performance gaps in process and equipment data, and to generate insights that contribute to improved manufacturing performance.
 

Opportunities to Be Offered for Full Time Employment:

Interns who demonstrate strong technical capability, learning agility, and alignment with organizational needs may be considered for future full‑time employment opportunities, subject to business requirements and performance.
 

Project Scope:

  • Analyze process and equipment data to identify trends, variability, and performance gaps

  • Perform structured analysis to understand potential contributors to process or equipment deviations

  • Work with cross‑functional engineering teams to understand manufacturing workflows and data context

  • Propose and validate improvement opportunities based on data insights
     

Learning Opportunities:

  • Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment engineering concepts

  • Application of data analytics to real manufacturing datasets

  • Development of structured problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and technical communication skills
     

Deliverables:

  • Data analysis reports with clear insights and improvement recommendations

  • Final project presentation to engineering stakeholders summarizing findings and outcomes
     

Impact of Project:

The project contributes to improved process stability and yield performance, supporting overall manufacturing quality and efficiency.
 

Skillsets Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Basic understanding of data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, or similar platforms

  • Good communication and presentation skills

Duration Period:

Minimum 6 months (Semester Internship from July 2026 to December 2026)
