What Is Indirect Procurement? (Role & Importance)

Indirect Procurement is a role that supports Micron’s manufacturing and business operations behind the scenes.
Semiconductor manufacturing relies on many essential services such as IT systems, electricity, construction, and other infrastructure. In this role, you work with internal teams to understand their needs and collaborate with external suppliers to decide when, at what cost, and under what conditions these services are provided. By working with many people and companies, you help ensure stable operations and contribute to Micron’s long‑term success. As Micron is a global company, there are also opportunities to be involved in work connected to the global organization in the future.
