Position Overview
The Staff Engineer for SSD Validation directs the technical activities in validation, system integration, and collaborative qualification of Enterprise and Datacenter NVMe SSD products. This position oversees the validation strategy and actively engages in firmware, hardware, and system testing. It holds primary responsibility for assisting new customers through joint qualification (JQ). The Staff Engineer serves as a specialist in NVMe/PCIe, encourages automation and early quality improvements, and mentors other engineers. They also guarantee that products are prepared for production on both internal and customer platforms. Working with Firmware, Hardware, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Engineering teams, this role fosters internal coordination and uniform qualification outcomes.
