As Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) Engineer for Micron Taiwan (MTB), you will be providing failure analysis support for qualifications, customer returns, new device introduction, and general test failures.
You will become the subject matter expert on physical failure analysis methods for any given electrical failure. As a Failure Analysis (FA) Engineer, you will be responsible for mastering all relevant analytical methodologies to identify visible defects related to assembly and test processes, as well as defects originating from upstream wafer fabrication. You will also have a thorough understanding of the product package assembly and process flow, to work with Process Integration, Assembly Product, and Test, Engineering groups ensuring failures are classified and root cause fixes implemented.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s or above in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Chemical Engineering / Chemistry
- Materials Science / Engineering
- Or other related STEM disciplines

Experience

Preferred experience in:
- Wafer Fabrication (Wafer Fab)
- Semiconductor Assembly / Packaging / Testing
- Failure Analysis Laboratory (FA House)
Fresh graduates are welcome — training will be provided

Shift-based role (day/night rotation required)
