The role is encouraged to evolve rapidly through streamlining and automating of processes.  As a Sr. Financial Accountant, you will focus on financial accounting and reporting for US GAAP close and local compliance matters. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Manage complex daily accounting and operational activities
• Analyze and review financial data to ensure appropriate balances and transactions
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation controls
• Perform and review month-end close activities, including journal entries
• Prepare and present monthly account reconciliations, close analytics, variance analysis, and ad hoc reports
• Review legal agreements, where applicable, to assess financial impact
• Manage and support internal and external audit activities
• Maintain expertise and ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and SOX controls
• Provide guidance and training to internal customers and peers
• Lead or support process improvement and automation initiatives
