Job description

from Micron careers

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

The Scribe Design team connects device design, manufacturing, and learning at the mask level. We translate requirements into test structures that drive insight, speed, and quality across the fab. Our work is highly collaborative, technically deep, and visible across multiple teams!

This role serves as the product owner for scribe design, acting as the main technical link between customers, partners, and internal design teams. You’ll define requirements, guide execution, and ensure scribe designs are delivered with quality and clarity from request through tape‑out.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary interface to customers and partners throughout the design cycle
  • Translate design requests into clear, single‑source documentation for build execution
  • Ensure scribe designs meet requirements, standards, and schedules
  • Coordinate resourcing and execution across scribe design functional teams
  • Partner with Mask Technology and Tapeout teams to ensure smooth data handoffs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in circuit design, layout, or verification using Cadence and Calibre for layout, DRC, and LVS
