Marvell is looking for a highly motivated, talented Staff Product Engineer. You will be part of a dynamic product engineering team working on the most advanced technologies, including Processor & ASIC. You will work closely with Test, Hardware, Design, and Firmware engineering teams to design, develop, and debug products and solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
As an engineer in the Product Engineering organization at Marvell, you will be part of a brilliant growing team of engineers that solves complex problems. In this role, you will be working with our design, product & test development team in US and in APAC; supporting new product introduction projects & activities to ensure smooth transition of these new products from development to manufacturing phase.

•    Collaborate with NPI PE, Test, Foundry and Reliability Engineering teams to drive NPI development of highspeed datacenter products and their variants. 
•    Analyze yield at Engineering Sample phase and Characterize NPI product performances and manufacturing yield window including bench correlation to meet product cost targets.
•    Perform data mining and statistical data analysis on wafer sort and final test parametric to support initial product assessment. 
•    Support product assessment report generation.
•    Perform functional testing and analysis to ensure product operation and reliability.
•    Support & resolve Test engineering & program related issues.
•    Support volume Engineering sample supply for early customer engagement.
•    Plan and coordinate (data analysis, debug, root-cause, implementing solutions) yield & test time improvement activities to meet the set mass production release goals.
•    Provide customer return verification support including implement containment & preventive actions through CIPs.
•    Execute and implement test productivity activities which include test time reduction, retest reduction, test insertion removal, higher parallelism
•    Identify and drive production capacity improvement needs via test time reduction, first pass retest rate reduction, qualifying alternate sources etc.
•    Transfer product knowledge to sustaining HVM engineer
•    Engage & manage Test Subcon in early production stage

What We're Looking For

Requirements:
•    B.S. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering 
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
•    Good understanding of product test methodology and implementation
•    Knowledge of C, C++ programing language is a plus
•    Must be familiar with ATE specification, configuration, and programming on Advantest SmartScale, PinScale 93K platform.  
•    Experience on Teradyne UltraFlex, j750, iFlex platform is a plus
•    Relevant expertise in Semiconductor Test, Manufacturing (Digital ASIC/ASSP) required and exposure to Foundry operations a strong plus
•    Demonstrated Proficiency with strong hands-on test development and debug skills
•    Good DFT knowledge and test methodology to improve testability, throughput and to reduce test cost
•    Able to work with test equipment (ie, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc)
•    Understanding of high performance digital SERDES. DDR… test methodologies and sampling theorem 
•    Strong analytical skills and statistically literate. Knowledge of yield analysis, quality management tools, GR&R, Cp, Cpk.   
•    Self-directed, capable of managing complex projects, working individually and collaborating with other technologists to achieve objectives
•    Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English
•    Competency in programming with Scripting languages (ie, Perl/Python) and high level languages (ie, C/C++ or Visual Basic.)
•    Prefer to have experience on direct dock WS testing, 2.5D testing and multiport test solution
•    Prefer to have experience of Cadence Allegro tool in ATE PCB design
•    Prefer to have RF testing experience
•    Problem Solving: Ability to handle and solve complex system level issues
•    Prefer to have Hands-on knowledge on JMP statistical analysis tool and scripting languages such as Perl and Python are a plus
