Your Team, Your Impact
The Connectivity Business Group develops products for leading-edge optical interfaces. The products designed by this group require state ofthe art digital signal processing, FEC techniques and the highest speed analog, digital and optical components in the industry.
What You Can Expect
The candidate will work within the connectivity group and work on systems DSP architecture and development of the next generation of digital
communication chips. The candidate will work closely with various cross-functional teams including analog, digital, optical and firmware
engineers to architect the overall system.
Job Responsibilities:
Understanding digital signal processing and digital communications for optical interfaces
Modelling/simulation/analysis of systems including high speed analog components (ADC, DAC, drivers, TIA), opto-electronic components (optical modulators, photodiodes, lasers), fiber impairments (CD, PMD, non-linearities) and DSP algorithms (calibration of analog and optical nonidealities, equalizers, carrier frequency/phase recovery, timing recovery, FEC)
