## The impact you’ll make
As a Systems Engineer at Lam, you will design complex frameworks, systems, and products for our wafer fabrication equipment. You’ll define system specifications, requirements, parameters, and compatibility to integrate hardware, software, and firmware into a cohesive system. Your ability to identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses will help shape the next generation of Lam initiatives.
## What you’ll do
You will be part of the Systems Engineering team within our product development group, collaborating across disciplines to drive system-level innovation. Responsibilities include:
Develop system and subsystem requirements for deposition tools.
Assist in project scope definition and manage system-level risks.
Create and execute test plans; analyze and present test data.
Identify and resolve technical opportunities and risks across hardware, controls, software, and manufacturing.
Manage design tradeoffs and perform hands-on lab work.
Design experiments to characterize subsystems and analyze data using Statistical Analysis of Variation and SPC methods.
Influence and lead without formal authority, driving closure of cross functional technical actions and decisions.
Present technical proposals, test plans, and tradeoff analyses.
Deliver results in fast-paced environments.
