## The impact you’ll make
This role offers the opportunity to build and advance a career working with Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) in a semiconductor-focused environment. Successful candidates will have hands-on experience with sample imaging techniques, including Cross-Section SEM (XSEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS/EDX), and sample cleaving.
## What you’ll do
* Responsible for supporting a variety of semiconductor applications using Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) to image challenging structures.
* Experience imaging samples at the wafer level, including acquiring profile, sidewall, and top‑down images using SEM.
* Some experience with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) analysis.
* Knowledge of SEM image optimization for a variety of materials.
* Ability to contribute to the development of Best Known Methods (BKM) for SEM imaging of new applications.
* Ability to perform SEM alignments and correct basic fault conditions on metrology equipment.
* Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with a large internal customer base.
