System Integration Engineer – Spare Parts Tool Owner

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
As a Spare Parts Engineer, you will be part of the KLA operations group, build and qualify spare parts for the semiconductor industry.
The role includes:
• Build and qualify state of the art tools for the semi-conductor industry
• Implement integration processes for multidisciplinary tools, including: optics, computers, electronics, mechanics, algorithms and applications
• Test and verify tool quality and performance
• Debug and troubleshoot tool performance issues
• Implement integration processes for multidisciplinary tools, including:
o Optics
o Computers
o Electronics
o Mechanics
o Applications
• Manage inventory and perform testing to verify spare parts’ quality and performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot spare part performance issues; disqualify parts as needed based on requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to ensure on time shipment.
• Interface with the Engineering Department to define packaging and packing processes.
• Function in a clean room environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Practical Engineer in Opto‑Mechanical or Electrical fields.
- Strong “hands‑on” technical skills.
- Proven mechanical / manufacturing experience reading technical mechanical and electrical diagrams
- Broad technical system understanding and vision.
- Analytical skills with a logical approach to problem solving
- Demonstrates strong communication –maintaining good working relationships with colleagues in your own and wider team
- Demonstrate good attention to detail to allow maintaining high level of production standards and efficiency
- Drive end‑to‑end shipment On‑Time Delivery (OTD) performance
- Supplier disqualifications, RTV/scrap decisions (ISO‑compliant).
- Respond to urgent global customer needs; prioritize critical deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to ensure on‑time shipment.
- Proficiency in English.
