Wireless Solution Sales Specialist— NG-RAN (AI-RAN | O-RAN | 6G-RAN| NTN )

Keysight Technologies is seeking a Wireless Solution Sales Specialist with a business acquisition and new logo focus to expand Keysight’s footprint in 5G/6G RAN test & measurement, AIRAN, RAN intelligence / digital twin simulation, and ORAN testing (conformance, interoperability).


As a sales overlay role, you will co-lead discovery with Account Managers and Solution Architects, influence the commercial strategy, and kickstart strategic opportunities from early qualification through discovery—primarily in new or underpenetrated accounts. You will also act as a public facing expert, representing Keysight at major industry events via conference presentations, panels, and workshops to generate awareness and grow the pipeline.


Responsibilities


Market Expansion (Hunter Focus)

  • Proactively identify, engage, and win new logos across MNOs, NEMs and the broader RAN ecosystem.
  • Drive outbound prospecting, (new logos, new buyers, new tech domains) mapping, competitive displacement, and partner-led entry strategies.
  • Build early-stage pipeline by uncovering unmet needs in AI-RAN, digital twin simulation, 6G readiness, and ORAN conformance/interoperability.

Industry Thought Leadership & Evangelism (Conferences & Panels)

  • Represent Keysight as a subject-matter expert at conference and tradeshows incl. conference talks, panel discussions or workshops.
  • Position Keysight solutions with a focus on Wireless product lines, but also consider High Frequency Measurements Solutions as required by the conference / tradeshow theme.
  • Convert event visibility into sales impact: new executive contacts, qualified leads, and follow-up meetings.

Customer opportunities & Commercial Architecture

  • Contribute to the commercial deal strategy (value proposition, pricing, packaging) while Solution Architects own Technical Proposals; ensure Solution Concept ↔ Technical Proposals coherence.
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, own executive and opportunity specific solution summaries, and competitive positioning.
  • Communicate complex technical capabilities as clear business value.

Funnel Generation & Acceleration

  • Build and progress new logo pipeline as part of Wireless Sales Program plan; improve velocity from early qualification to discovery and high-level solution concept
  • Partner with Marketing/GTM to execute targeted campaigns, event programs, and content‑led demand generation. Seminars with partners etc.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance

  • Orchestrate AMs, SAs, SEs, and IST / ISEs across each customer opportunity.
  • Provide structured market feedback to ISTs  (e.g. AI‑RAN adoption, O‑RAN maturity, operator priorities).

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • 7–10 years in telecom sales/business development
  • Background in Test & Measurement solutions for RAN ecosystem players
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of 5G/6G RAN & NTN architecture (gNB split roles, CU/DU/RU, service based architecture) and ORAN interfaces (e.g., E2, O1)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML for RAN functions (xApps/rApps concepts, data pipelines, model lifecycle), Agentic AI concepts and workflow
  • Ability to converse at C-level on AI-native RAN, automation, and network transformation.

Preferred Skills

  • Background with a Mobile Network Operator and/or a Network Equipment Vendor (RAN/core/test experience).
  • Demonstrated success in new logo business development.
  • Knowledge of RAN intelligence, digital twin simulation, service assurance/SLA testing.
  • Understanding of lab orchestration, CI/CD, cloud automation, and LaaS.
  • Executive storytelling and challenger style value selling.
  • Additional European languages beyond English.
