Role Overview
The AI Planner is responsible for defining and driving the organization’s AI strategy. This role focuses on identifying high-impact AI opportunities, building strategic roadmaps, and aligning AI initiatives with business objectives. The AI Planner acts as a bridge between business leadership, technology teams, and data specialists to ensure AI investments deliver measurable value

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Roadmap

Develop and maintain the organization’s AI strategy and multi-year AI roadmap aligned with business priorities.
Identify and prioritize AI opportunities across departments
Translate business problems into AI-enabled strategic initiatives.

Business & Opportunity Assessment

Conduct AI opportunity discovery workshops with stakeholders.
Evaluate potential AI use cases based on impact, feasibility, cost, and data availability.
Build business cases and ROI analysis for AI initiatives.
Strong experience in product planning, operations planning, cost analysis, business analytics, market and competitive analysis

Program & Portfolio Planning

Define and manage an AI initiative portfolio including pilots, operations, and scaled deployments.
Create clear implementation plans including milestones, resources, and timelines.
Monitor progress of AI initiatives and adjust roadmap as necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Data Science, Product and Project Manager and Operations teams to translate strategy into implementation.
Ensure alignment between AI initiatives and enterprise digital transformation programs.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Market & Technology Intelligence

Track emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Benchmark competitors’ AI adoption and identify strategic opportunities.
Recommend partnerships, platforms, or investments that support the AI roadmap.

Governance & Adoption

Help define AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, and adoption strategies.
Drive organizational understanding and adoption of AI initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Strategy, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

5+ years in strategy, digital transformation, innovation, or technology planning.
Experience developing technology or AI roadmaps.
Experience working with data science or AI teams.
