We are now looking for a Junior Electronics Repair Engineer to join our Winnersh Service Centre team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their engineering career who enjoys hands‑on technical work and wants to grow their skills in diagnostics, repair, and calibration of advanced electronic and RF test equipment.

 


Responsibilities


  • Service/Repair and validation of both Keysight and Non-Keysight Test and Measurement equipment (Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generator, Oscilloscopes, PSU’s etc).
  • Performing routine tasks using defined procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgement.
  • Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
  • Understand customer requirements through written and face to face communications.
  • Travel to customer sites <10% performing on site support

Qualifications


Essential:

  • GCSEs (Maths, Science, English) at Grade C/4 or higher (or equivalent)
  • Level 3 Engineering qualification (NVQ, BTEC, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of electronics principles
  • Strong IT skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Interest in electronic test equipment and technical problem-solving
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance

Nice to Have:

  • Practical experience in electronics repair, assembly, testing, or diagnostics
  • Familiarity with RF or Test & Measurement equipment
  • Hands‑on experience from college projects, hobbies, or previous roles
