Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities for FPGA Programmer (Hardware Speed Optimization Focus)
- Design and implement high-performance FPGA logic to interface with external hardware systems, ensuring minimal latency and maximum throughput
- Develop timing-critical modules using VHDL or Verilog to control motors, sensors, or other peripherals with precise speed regulation
- Optimize data paths and clock domains to enhance real-time responsiveness and reduce bottlenecks in hardware communication
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system-level requirements and ensure FPGA designs meet speed and performance targets
- Integrate FPGA designs with embedded processors or microcontrollers, enabling dynamic control of external hardware speed
- Conduct timing analysis and constraint tuning to meet setup/hold requirements and ensure stable operation under varying conditions.
