Job Description: The Role and Impact At Intel, innovation begins with the development of cutting-edge systems and solutions tailored to meet today's complex challenges. As a CPU as Host of AI system research Undergraduate Intern, you will join the team research on AI systems performance improvement, focus CPU. Working alongside Intel's world-class engineering teams, you will gain hands-on experience on AI system topology analysis, CPU role and responsibilities executing certain AI workloads, validate and optimize CPU behaviors for bottleneck identification and improvements. This opportunity will allow you to build valuable skills, explore technical paths, and contribute meaningfully to projects. Key Responsibilities You will work on a subset of the following, depending on project needs: Xeon as AI Head Node Performance optimization and validation (Top-Down) Profiling Xeon CPU behaviors executing certain AI models, on variant AI system topologies. Verify bottlenecks of the AI models performance, identify whether and which part of the CPU is the bottleneck. Planned AI models and CPU area: Text to Image/ Text to Video, CPU IO management capability(latency, bandwidth, IOPS). Define practical solution for per model performance improvement plan and solutions.Qualifications:
