Your role and responsibilities

As a Brand Technical Specialist for zAIOps products within IBM zHardware, you will act as a technical consultant to IBM clients and sellers by architecting solutions and delivering Proofs of Technology for zInfrastructure products. You will utilize your technical expertise to design and implement solutions that meet client needs. 

Your primary responsibilities will include: 

• Architect Solutions: Design and deliver Proofs of Technology for zInfrastructure products, including Hyper Protect Crypto Services - Public Cloud, Hyper Protect Virtual Servers - Public Cloud, and other related offerings. 

• Deliver Technical Consultation: Provide technical guidance to IBM clients and sellers on zInfrastructure products, including solution architecture and implementation best practices. 

• Develop Solution Designs: Create customized solution designs that meet client requirements, leveraging zInfrastructure products such as IBM Blockchain Platform Cloud Services (IBM Z) and Data Privacy Passports - Public Cloud. 

• Lead Proof of Technology Delivery: Oversee the delivery of Proofs of Technology, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction. 

• Collaborate with Clients and Sellers: Work closely with clients and sellers to understand their needs and provide technical expertise to drive solution adoption.

Required technical and professional expertise

• z Infrastructure Product Knowledge: Experience with z Infrastructure products, including Hyper Protect Crypto Services - Public Cloud, Hyper Protect Virtual Servers - Public Cloud, IBM Blockchain Platform Cloud Services (IBM Z), and Data Privacy Passports - Public Cloud, is required to design and deliver Proofs of Technology. 
• Solution Architecture Expertise: Experience in architecting solutions that meet client needs, leveraging z Infrastructure products, is necessary to provide technical guidance to IBM clients and sellers. 
• Monitoring & Observability Experience: Experience with IBM OMEGAMON for system and performance monitoring, proficiency with Instana for APM and service observability, and working knowledge of OpenTelemetry for collecting and managing traces, metrics, and logs.
•  Technical Consultation Skills: Experience with providing technical consultation to clients and sellers on solution architecture and implementation best practices for z Infrastructure products is required. 
• Customized Solution Design: Experience in creating customized solution designs that meet client requirements, utilizing z Infrastructure products, is necessary to drive solution adoption. 
• Proof of Technology Delivery: Experience with overseeing the delivery of Proofs of Technology, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction, is required to lead projects effectively.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Additional Monitoring Expertise: Hands‑on experience with Datadog monitoring and APM, familiarity with Dynatrace full‑stack observability, and experience using IntelliMagic for performance and capacity analytics.
• Additional zInfrastructure Product Familiarity: Experience with LinuxONE Emperor 4, LinuxONE III, LinuxONE Next High End, z15 T01, zNext High End, z16 A01, zNext Midrange, z16 AGZ, LinuxONE Rack Mount, LinuxONE Next Midrange, z16 A02, LinuxONE Rockhopper 4, LinuxONE III LT2, LinuxONE Rockhopper 4 AGL, zNext Rack Mount, z15 T02, Cyber Vault Environment Licensing, and z/OS is beneficial for designing and delivering Proofs of Technology. 
• Broad Technical Consultation Expertise: Experience providing technical consultation to clients and sellers on various zInfrastructure products beyond the required ones is advantageous for driving solution adoption. • Advanced Solution Design Skills: Experience creating complex customized solution designs that meet client requirements, utilizing multiple zInfrastructure products, is desirable for leading projects effectively.
