Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for enthusiastic & self-motivated Data Scientists to join the IBM Consulting Advantage (ICA) Asset Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building innovative AI-powered solutions that integrate with various systems and applications. You will also be working with the broader team to build, analyse and improve the AI solutions.

Required technical and professional expertise

• 7+ years of professional experience; 5+ years of experience in Data Scientist/Engineer role.
• Proficient in Python, FastAPI & other Data Analytics Packages. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, multi-threading, and REST APIs.
• Experience in using large language models programmatically or frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Watson Orchestrate for enhanced decision-making and workflow automation.
• Experience working with large datasets and data pre-processing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale AI solutions, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and deployment.
• Experience working on LLMs, Model Training & Evaluation, Performance Benchmarking.
• Experience in developing multi-agent applications using frameworks like Crew AI, AutoGen etc
• Practical experience with container technologies such as Podman, Docker or Kubernetes.
