Introduction

As Program Director, you are the manager of a high-performing watsonx.data Product Marketing team, and work closely with a large stakeholder group including product management, development, sales, marketing & communications and IBM’s senior leadership team. This individual will be an expert in their product, market and customer needs while leading with speed, compassion, and executing against key goals to drive business growth.

 

IBM watsonx.data is an open, hybrid data foundation for AI-ready data at scale. It sits with IBM’s Data and AI Software portfolio. 

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an energetic, innovative and experienced product marketing leader to join the IBM Software Product Marketing team and lead watsonx.data. As a Product Marketing leader, you will define and drive differentiated product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for a leading product in the IBM Software portfolio.


You will lead client-centric messaging and storytelling for how watsonx.data shows up in market including driving product requirements, strategic launches, major programs and product activation within IBM’s sales and marketing teams to exceed aggressive usage and revenue targets. 


Responsibilities include frequent leadership of high-impact client, partner, analyst and influencer engagements, developing prescriptive messaging and client-journeys for different market segments and the ability to articulate business value and technical capabilities of a data platform solution.
