Software Engineer II, YouTube Trust and Safety

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand gaps in our content understanding.
• Build Large Language Models (LLMs)-based classifiers for YouTube videos and livestreams.
• Apply machine learning methods to manage a variety of Trust and Safety challenges.
• Collaborate with research, operations, and product teams.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience implementing core ML concepts.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Machine Learning with a focus on Computer Vision.
• Experience with Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision and data analysis.
