Job description
from Google careersA problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As an Investigation and Incident Program Manager, you will work closely with members of Regulatory Affairs and act as the central operations support for the department's role in the broader regulatory lifecycle. You will also partner with teams across Google and Alphabet’s Public Policy, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Finance and product areas to support the handling of some of the most important issues for the company today.
Responsibilities
- Support operations and manage resourcing for centralized intake, assessment, and assignment triage of investigations and incidents.
- Provide strategic support for higher tier matters (P0s/crises), Product Area/cross-functional engagement (unique info requests); running syncs/driving consensus and identifying solutions.
- Partner with investigation and incident leads to set Google-wide standards and processes.
