Responsibilities
- Represent the EMEA region by executing various portfolio of contract models for Google’s growing Global Data Center program, influence the development and selection of contracting models based on project-specific nuances, including goals, risk profiles, design completion, and partner strategy.
- Collaborate with Construction, Design, and external partners to drive the contract review, negotiation, and execution life-cycle, liaise with the internal Real Estate Legal team to ensure all contractual terms align with corporate risk expectations and standards.
- Deliver continuous commercial expertise during construction, overseeing terms implementation, change management, and delay entitlement evaluation, foster a culture of claim prevention and rapid resolution, ensuring scalable commercial risk distribution.
- Identify and embed opportunities for contracting process efficiency and simplification.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in construction project management, or engineering related field.
- 5 years of experience with construction contract management, construction contract negotiation, and administration in a mission critical industry.
- Experience in International Construction, Law, and Commercial Strategy Implications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Juris Doctor or Master of Laws degree with an educational and career emphasis on Construction Law.
- Experience in data center construction, hyper-scaler, or mission-critical industry.
- Experience in quantity surveying or engineering.
