As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

- Define product and select architecture, in collaboration with design and ID teams, via early design for automation engagement.
- Generate functional requirements specifications for automated adhesive, sealing, screw driving, cleaning, conveyance, and other precision electronic assembly operations.
- Automate solution design and development, in conjunction with manufacturing and automation partners.
- Develop automation implementation schedules and oversight of factory and site acceptance testing activities.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management
- 5 years of experience with process or product development with electro-mechanical products.
- Experience in leading end-to-end project management, including design for excellence (DFX) discussions, design, develop, and implement automated systems, return on investment analysis, SOW negotiations, vendor coordination, testing, and support.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in high-volume and high-precision consumer electronics.
- Experience with robotic manipulators, vision systems, and material handling systems.
- Experience in manufacturing process or fixture development and validation.
- Experience generating functional requirements specifications.
- Experience with NX or other CAD tools, DOE, GRR, tolerance analysis, and statistical analysis.
