Overview
GitHub is growing its Sales Business Development team and seeks experienced professionals to elevate our sales efforts. As an Enterprise Business Representative, you will conduct outbound prospecting to find new prospective customers and expand current product usage within current customers, helping the sales organization achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to influence customer engagement strategies, learn from industry-leading sales practices, and contribute to shaping the approaches of our sales operations in a rapidly evolving market.
Responsibilities
Identifies key prospects by assessing customer needs and delivering tailored value propositions
Qualifies opportunities and contributes to account planning with sales representatives
Engages with customers and partners to align on needs and desired outcomes with the GitHub platform
Assesses market trends to uncover new opportunities for GitHub’s products and platform
Supports and executes account strategies to meet business goals
Expands customer engagement by identifying new strategic contacts and departments
