Overview
GitHub is expanding its Mid-Market Account team and seeks experienced professionals to enhance our sales efforts. As a Senior Mid-Market Account Executive I, you will forge strong relationships with executive decision-makers, develop and execute account plans, and align GitHub's sales strategies with customer needs. The ideal candidate will be a key partner in driving business transformation for mid-market customers, influencing strategic technology adoption while gaining deep industry insights and contributing to long-term customer success and growth.
Responsibilities
- Own a named account list and develop a territory plan for winning and expanding business across the Mid-Market segment.
- Proactively cultivates and maintains strong relationships with customers and uses GitHub sales strategies with executive, business, and technical decision makers at high levels of the customer's organization through consultative engagement to establish alignment and secure buy-in and execution.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for a portfolio of large accounts, ensuring alignment with business priorities and leveraging data-driven insights for market analysis.
