GIC Sales & Commercial Capabilities team partners with our global General Mills sales teams in providing them with analytical horsepower and enable business continuity so they can focus on core activities – Selling, driving distribution gains, and optimizing merchandising plans to deliver sales volume targets. We enable customer pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management. Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming.

Role Overview
The Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) team is looking for someone who is energized by working in a cross-functional role at the intersection of Sales, SRM and data analysis. You will be hands-on and action-oriented as we further enhance our best-in-class global Revenue Management capability that helps drive General Mills’s performance now and in the future.
This highly collaborative role requires strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. You will work closely with business partners to optimize volume, pricing, product mix, trade promotions, and assortment strategies, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions that lead to growth. Experience:

- Master’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Comfort pulling, using, and analyzing multiple data sources, e.g. syndicated data
- Experience in FMCG/CPG Business in Revenue Management (Net Revenue Management/ Strategic Revenue Management/ Revenue Growth Management)
- Strong MS Office expertise and technical skills
- Natural curiosity, ability to operate in white space, comfort with quantitative and strategic problems, strong analytical skills, NAR business acumen, understanding of market dynamics
- Able to take objective perspective on consumer behavior and competitive landscape to help lead thinking and outcomes
- Ability to challenge the status quo and develop creative solutions to business challenges
- Understand financial impact of strategies and tactics and partner with Finance to develop Return on Net Sales, Margin, Profit implications
- Ability to coach, train, and demonstrate strong presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- Experience in Tableau
- Experience with data analysis, including Nielsen, SRM Tools such as Engine or Merch Return Report (MRR), and Trade Planner
- Experience in NAR FMCG/CPG business
- Experience with sales and/or marketing and/or finance
- Strong candidate will have both consumer pricing and trade analytics expertise
