The Mission

Descript is revolutionizing how traditional editing methodologies and AI technologies come together in every part of the creation process (recording, transcribing, editing, and sharing) to make it faster and easier than ever to create high quality content.

About the team:

Our Growth Engineering team is two years in, and the scope of work is real: we're building a repeatable sales motion and a self-serve motion in parallel—and we need people who can help us do both well. We're hiring two senior-to-staff engineers who are sharp enough to know which bets to take, fast enough to test them, and experienced enough to scale what works. There’s real impact on the table—come help us unlock it.

Build the systems that makes growth possible

• Design and own the experimentation playbook — the frameworks, tooling, and best practices that let the whole team run faster, cleaner tests
• Architect personalization and user journey systems that adapt the product experience based on who someone is and what they're trying to do
