Senior Pricing Analyst, Modern Consumption Pricing

Our Modern Consumption Pricing team sits within Global Revenue Operations and is responsible for developing & implementing pricing strategies for our Modern Consumption Offers (Datacenter Utility, APEX Subscription & Transformational License Agreements).

The team’s work therefore encompasses both establishing pricing strategies and tools for each of the offers and then delivering them in tailored deal-specific pricing proposals.

What you’ll achieve

In this role, you will develop deal-winning pricing proposals for our rapidly growing Modern Consumption business and you will continue building your knowledge and understanding of Dell's product portfolio

You will:
 

• Collaborate closely with Modern Consumption sales and presales leads to understand customer's solution and pricing requirements
• Employ the various Modern Consumption systems and tools to develop pricing solutions and associated analyses which meet both customer and internal needs
• Articulate fluently the Dell Technologies Modern Consumption pricing proposal from both a sales and an internal governance perspective
• Respond to feedback and adapts pricing proposals accordingly
• Create forecasts, P&Ls and risk analysis for pricing proposals to facilitate internal governance and approval
• Collaborate with other members of the wider Modern Consumption pricing team (global), Senior Management and high-level employees in other cross-functional groups as required

Essential Requirements

• Excellent quantitative/mathematical/data analysis/modelling skills
• Good financial/accounting awareness
• A problem solving/critical thinking mindset
• Very strong communicator - written, verbal and small group presentation
• A proactive team player - comfortable to work across multiple virtual teams
• Able to work independently of day to day supervision
• Deep experience with Excel and good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
• Capable of effectively presenting complex data/ideas to a range of stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority
