Join us as an IAM Operations Engineer on our Cybersecurity team in Limerick, Dublin or Cork to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As an IAM Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational support, optimization, planning, design, testing, and management of Identity & Access Management (IAM) tools and technologies. You will play a critical part in ensuring secure, reliable identity services across the enterprise by executing daily operational activities, contributing to design discussions, leading troubleshooting efforts, and supporting incident response workflows.

Working as part of a global team, you will help to ensure consistent operational execution, maintain strong technical documentation, improve IAM processes, and collaborate with cyber engineering, IT, and business application teams to enhance the organization’s identity security posture.

You will:

  • Oversee Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management processes and troubleshoot IAM tool and process issues such as sync and attribute errors, provisioning failures, authentication issues, and access workflow errors
  • Create and update detailed documentation (such as runbooks, SOPs, process flows, and knowledge articles) to support daily operations, cybersecurity programs, compliance needs, and audit readiness
  • Maintain and optimize tools, workflows, processes, reporting, and automation opportunities
  • Participate in tool and process reviews to identify improvements and evaluate emerging IAM technologies
  • Support upgrades, patches, migrations, and new integrations by creating and running test plans to ensure IAM capabilities function correctly and meet security requirements

    • Identity governance or access management tools
  • Working knowledge of IAM concepts (JML processes, RBAC, least privilege, access governance, SSO)
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, including English – written and spoken

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience supporting or configuring IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Ping, or similar platforms
