Our Regulatory Engineering team thrives on the challenge of operating in a complex global environment. We ensure product compliance to global regulatory, market and customer requirements in all our target regions. We work across segments and functions to integrate policy relating to emissions, safety and the environment into products and solutions. As we align regulatory standards with our strategic plans, we work closely with regulatory bodies, as well as with industry and customer groups
What you’ll achieve:
As a Senior Engineer, you will execute comprehensive usability evaluations and strengthen regression automation for UI quality. You will document findings with clear evidence and collaborate to resolve issues.
Join us as a UX/UI Designer (Product Designer) on our Global Product Compliance Engineering and Environment Affair team in Singapore (near Jurong) to lead the user experiences for AI-enabled digital solutions.
You will:
User Research & Discovery
- Lead and facilitate user research activities (interviews, contextual inquiry, workflow analysis, usability testing) to understand users’ goals, behaviours, pain points, and regulatory-driven constraints
- Synthesize research findings into user archetypes, journey maps, mental models, and problem statements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to frame design problems and validate assumptions early
AI-Enabled Experience & Interaction Design
- Design how end users interact with AI outputs, insights, and recommendations within regulatory workflows, translating AI capabilities into understandable, actionable, and usable user experiences
- Define context scenarios, user stories, and experience narratives that communicate ideal end-to-end user experiences
- Describe system capabilities, functional requirements, and success criteria that support users’ goals and tasks
- Design the overall information architecture, workflows, system behaviors, and interaction patterns across complex products
- Balance usability, accessibility, and regulatory requirements when defining interaction models.
Visual Design & Prototyping
- Create high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and visual assets that clearly communicate design intent and direction
- Apply consistent visual, interaction, and accessibility standards across products
- Use design systems and component libraries where appropriate, and contribute improvements back to them
Validation & Iteration
- Plan and conduct evaluative research to test and refine designs
- Incorporate user feedback, technical constraints, and regulatory considerations into iterative design improvements
- Ensure solutions enable users to successfully complete tasks within real-world constraints
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely within an Agile/Scrum environment alongside AI/ML engineers, software engineers, product owners, and regulatory subject matter experts
- Partner with engineers throughout development to ensure high-quality implementation of design intent
- Communicate design decisions clearly and persuasively to varied audiences, including senior stakeholders
- Use product analytics and qualitative insights to inform design decisions and validate outcomes.
