## Your Responsibilities

As a Unit Supervisor, working at A&I Products Canada Inc. in Altona, Manitoba you will lead a team of production employees in a metal fabrication factory environment. Your assigned shift will be 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday-Friday. Your key responsibilities are to:

* Promote a safety-first culture. Engage in health and safety programs that enhance a safe work environment to prevent and eliminate injury.
* Drive for ongoing continuous improvement by engaging worker participation in innovative thinking.
* Lead daily operations to meet departmental goals and drive continuous improvement. Achieve objectives in safety, quality, scheduling, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
* Support reporting and operational planning activities.
* Foster a positive and inclusive team environment resulting in high team performance. Leverage people programs, polices and work rules to drive employee and team performance.
* Establishes employee environment regarding communications, feedback and overall guidance.

## What Skills You Need

* 3+ years of experience in an operations environment or similar experience, with a focus on maintaining/improving a safe work environment
* Strong commitment to health & safety
* Ability to read blueprints and previous experience in metal fabrication processes (i.e. welding, forming, machining, etc.)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Team, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve business objectives
* Ability to build relationships, collaboration and drive employee engagement to build a positive work environment
* Excellent verbal & written communication

## Education

University degree or college diploma with a focus on operations, or equivalent work experience.
