Job description
from Datadog careersAs a Product Manager II for Risk-Based Alerting within Datadog’s Cloud SIEM, you will define and deliver intelligent alerting systems that help security teams focus on the most critical threats. You’ll work at the intersection of security, data, and user experience to reduce alert noise, improve signal quality, and enable faster, more confident incident response. Partnering closely with customers and internal teams, you will shape how risk is modeled, prioritized, and surfaced across the platform. This role offers the opportunity to influence core security workflows and drive meaningful outcomes for security teams operating at scale.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
What You’ll Do:
- Define and drive the product vision for Risk-Based Alerting, focusing on improving signal quality and reducing alert fatigue for security teams
- Design and evolve risk scoring frameworks using telemetry, user behavior, threat intelligence, and contextual signals
- Partner with customers and security practitioners to understand triage workflows and translate insights into product improvements
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and security teams to build scalable detection pipelines, enrichment systems, and prioritization models
