from Datadog careersThe Subscriptions team is part of Datadog’s core monetization platform within Revenue Engineering, supporting a significant portion of revenue through alternative sales channels including cloud marketplaces, partners, and in-app purchasing. This team builds and operates high-throughput, high-availability services that process up to 80k requests per second, along with revenue-critical pipelines that directly impact customer purchasing and entitlement experiences. As Datadog continues to expand into new products and markets, this role will help evolve systems to support new pricing models, purchasing flows, and regional requirements. This is a full-stack engineering leadership role with ownership across both customer-facing features and backend services, offering strong opportunities to shape scalable systems and team growth.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support a full-stack engineering team building and operating Datadog’s subscriptions platform
- Oversee development of high-throughput, high-availability services handling up to 80k requests per second
- Guide the design and evolution of monetization systems supporting cloud marketplaces, partners, and in-app purchasing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Billing, Revenue Engineering, and Product to deliver revenue-critical features
