The Virtual Account Executive for Industrial IoT will be responsible for driving sales and expanding Cisco’s Industrial IoT solutions portfolio in a given territory.
This role focuses on helping customers understand and apply Industrial IoT technologies to address critical business challenges, particularly in operational technology (OT) domains such as manufacturing, utilities, transportation, and smart cities. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor, skilled in virtual engagement, and capable of managing complex sales cycles remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Cisco’s Industrial IoT business within assigned accounts and regions.
Proactively identify and hunt new business opportunities by leveraging data, insights, and analytics, collaborating closely with account teams and partners to drive pipeline growth and close deals effectively.
Engage with customers virtually to understand their operational challenges and align Cisco’s Industrial IoT solutions to meet their needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including partners, technical specialists, and marketing to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Drive adoption of Cisco’s Industrial IoT portfolio, including secure networking, edge computing, and OT/IT convergence technologies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders in customer organizations.
Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in Industrial IoT.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of Cisco’s Industrial IoT market presence.
