We are seeking a Product Engineering Architect to lead silicon execution for large, complex SoCs for our Emulation Products from first silicon through qualification, production ramp, and sustained manufacturing. This role owns product health across yield, reliability, quality, and manufacturing, working closely with design, test, foundry, and OSAT partners to deliver high‑quality silicon at scale.
This is a highly cross‑functional, hands‑on leadership role for someone passionate about shipping robust, manufacturable silicon.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own first‑silicon bring‑up, characterization, and debug for large SoCs
- Drive yield learning and yield ramp into high‑volume manufacturing
- Lead silicon reliability and qualification activities (JEDEC requirements)
- Analyze failures across test, design, process, and packaging; drive root cause and fixes
- Define binning, guard‑banding, and product readiness criteria
- Partner with foundries, OSATs, and manufacturing teams for production execution
- Support field quality, customer escalations, and long‑term product health
- Act as a key technical leader across design, test, reliability, and operations teams
Job Qualifications:
- BS with a minimum of 12 years of experience OR MS with a minimum of 10 years of experience OR PhD with a minimum of 8 years of experience
- Proven ownership of large, complex SoCs from bring‑up through production
- Strong experience with silicon debug, yield analysis, and manufacturing flows
- Hands‑on exposure to reliability qualification and failure analysis
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive execution under schedule pressure
- Experience working with offshore manufacturing partners (e.g., Taiwan) is a plus
The annual salary range for California is $178,500 to $331,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
