Job Description:
Broadcom is seeking a talented and passionate Field Applications Engineer to join the Sales team and support the world’s leading cloud service providers, OEMs, and Channel customers. This entails working with them to design solutions that use Broadcom PCIE based products. In this position, you will work directly with the customer to understand the requirements and propose Broadcom solutions. During the design process you will provide customer training on the necessary tools and design guidelines for a successful design. You will work directly with both the customer and the engineering support team to assist with any customer issues. You will also work customer requirements and advocate internally for product enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Work with both customers and Broadcom’s System Applications Engineers to analyze, debug, & root cause issues found within Broadcom’s PCIe switch and retimer products.
- Work with OEM and Cloud customers to properly integrate Broadcom’s PCIe switch and retimer products into GP-GPUs, AI/ML platforms, storage servers and custom designs.
