Role:
- Act as a connected business partner with stakeholders on projects with a cross functional impact.
- Lead and take ownership for the design, implementation and testing of large scale new business initiatives from an accounting standpoint with a focus on long term scalability.
- Provide and communicate to our stakeholders the required accounting reporting and process requirements to ensure completeness & accuracy of accounts is maintained for new initiatives.
- Work closely with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams to design, implement and test reporting for new initiatives to be used in the monthly closing process.
- Complete the monthly closing process for the new initiatives which you have launched until they reach ‘business as usual’ & are handed over to the operational month end close team.
- Actively identify and support the implementation of continuous improvements and innovations. Ability to lead and influence work simplification via excel macros, SAP scripting, and usage of other automation tools is highly preferred.
- Work closely with external providers (local accountants and external auditors) to ensure that the organization is compliant with the local regulations.
- Help to establish documentation, manual and procedures; to ensure the ways of working are optimized using the new tooling and systems
- Help the team meet and exceed department goals.
- Minimum 7-8 years of Accounting experience
- Experience working in projects and/or the online payments industry is preferred Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS
- Strong IT experience in financial systems, SAP S4 & FICA is preferred
- Knowledge of excel macros, SAP scripting, and any other automation tools is preferred
- Experience in working with Product, Business Intelligence/Data Analytics teams is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
- Able to cope with dynamic and high change environment

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive self-starter, resourceful with strong work ethic
- Capable of working independently as well as working in a team
- Fluent in spoken and written English
