Join a dynamic team implementing and providing Security guidance to our Tactical Solutions Business Sector campus located in Westminster, CO. This is an opportunity to develop your career and grow your skills in a high intensity, team-based environment and become a part of the BAE Systems Space and Mission Systems (SMS) Security program.
As a Security Specialist Senior, you will work with the SAP Security and Industrial Security teams, site leadership and both internal and external customers to support a variety of fascinating programs. This role provides onsite support for the site’s collateral security program.
The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.
What You’ll Do:
- Exercise discretion and independent judgement in performing the following tasks:
- Interpret government and internal company policies, develop and implement security plans and procedures utilizing the new 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals as well as any other specific programmatic instruction manuals.
- Conduct security briefings and provide security guidance to company personnel.
- Conduct inquiries and interviews of non‐compliance matters and issues relating to security violation.
