We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Critical Clean Lab Technician to join our team at BAE Systems Space and Mission Systems (SMS), a leading manufacturer of innovative aerospace systems. As a Critical Clean Lab Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and controlled environment in our laboratory facilities, ensuring the integrity of our research and testing operations. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.

What You’ll Do:

• Clean laboratory equipment, surfaces, and facilities to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
• Precision cleaning of hardware, assemblies and subassemblies.
• Stringent post-cleaning verification testing is required.
• Working in a clean environment, using cleanroom operations best practices.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks in accordance with laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Utilize cleaning agents and solvents, equipment, and supplies in accordance with laboratory safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including date, time, and details of tasks performed.
