Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking multiple SCA Engineering Technicians (Levels III/IV) to provide critical technical support for naval landing systems. We are looking for experienced technicians to join our teams supporting the AN/USN-3(V) Satellite Signals Landing Systems (SSLS), also known as the Joint Precision Approach Landing System (JPALS), or the AN/SPN-46(V) Automatic Carrier Landing System (ACLS), also known as the Precision Approach Landing System (PALS).
The selected candidates will be responsible for the maintenance and complex troubleshooting of their respective equipment. These roles are vital to ensuring system readiness and reliability, requiring technicians to provide direct support for flight tests and fleet operations, as well as the operational testing of new system installations. Working closely with engineering teams, the technicians will help resolve technical discrepancies and drive continuous improvement in system performance.

Your duties & responsibilities may include:

Operational Support: Conduct lab-based system operations and daily maintenance at the Landing Systems Test Facility (LSTF) in Patuxent River, MD, and provide support from pre-positioned offices in San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system faults to ensure maximum operational readiness.
Systems Engineering: Develop, design, modify, install, and operate electrical, electronic, mechanical, and communications systems for Landing Systems and associated support equipment.
