BAE Systems is seeking an entry level Weld Process Engineer I to support our weekend Shift Weld Operations with processes for new welded assemblies as well as supporting continuous improvement efforts on existing products. Standard hours for this position is Friday-Sunday 5 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
This exciting opportunity offers the ability to learn and implement cutting edge welding technology, thereby making a real difference in the success of BAE Systems.
In this position, you will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) Business onsite at our Aiken, SC facility.
As a Weld Process Engineer I, you will:
- Working under general supervision, you will have the opportunity to perform professional technical work that involves basic knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing concepts, techniques and practices.
- Contribute to design review and provide feedback to ensure producibility of welded assemblies.
