The BAE Systems Team in Colorado Springs, CO is looking to add a Systems Engineer to the team!
This position supports an Electronic Warfare (EW) sustainment program. This person will work closely with a cross-functional team to support integrated software testing of operational EW systems and EW training systems. Primary tasks will include developing and performing detailed test procedures, deficiency reporting, and requirements management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deficiency Reporting: Identify, document, and report discrepancies and deficiencies discovered during the testing process.
- Engineering Tools: Use tools such as DOORS, Agile PLM, Atlassian Tools, AutoCAD, and Creo to support various engineering tasks.
- Software Testing: Conduct software testing to identify and resolve issues, ensuring software performance and reliability.
- Developing Testable Requirements: Collaborate with other engineers to develop testable requirements that meet project specifications.
- Methods of Verification for Testing: Develop and implement methods of verification to ensure thorough testing and validation of systems and components. Apply methods and traceability through Requirement Verification Traceability Matrices.
- Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE): Utilize TMDE to support product testing and diagnostics
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field, in lieu of a degree 10 years of experience may be substituted.
