We are seeking an experienced Production and Aftermarket Shop Planning Lead to join our Business Systems team. The successful candidate will manage a team of planners responsible for ensuring efficient production and MRO planning, material management, and logistics within our organization. This role will play a critical part in supporting our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process and managing shop planning and material logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead a team of planners responsible for scheduling, WIP release, in-process material management, and bill of material management within our ERP system (Oracle).
- Production Planning: Establish and communicate work cell targets and prioritization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Material Management: Manage material availability, critical shortage management, and ensure compliance with customer shipping requirements.
- Production Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules, including schedule recovery, to meet customer demand and business objectives.
- Oracle Master Data: Maintain accurate and up-to-date Oracle Master Data, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Sales Status Tracking: Track current and anticipated sales status to inform production planning, material management and customer focused decisions.
- SIOP Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the SIOP process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Shop Planning: Manage shop planning activities, including capacity planning, material planning, and production scheduling.
