As a Production Value Stream Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of daily operations for an assigned production value stream. Your goal will be to ensure that products are safely manufactured, delivered on time, and within budget. You will lead cross-functional problem-solving, provide clarity and focus to teams, and drive rapid resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production value stream, including coordination of changes with scheduling, resource allocation, equipment, and workflow management.
- Identify and lead activities that optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards and meeting production delivery requirements.
- Be accountable for SQDCP performance and reporting of company KPI targets for your production value stream. Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.
- Support the compilation of labor forecasts for both Estimates to Completion (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for support and touch employees within your defined area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PMO, engineering, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of production plans.
- Lead, mentor, and create a One Team mindset for an entire value stream team of supervisors, production workers, and cross-functional teams. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
