Job Description Must be able to inspect, maintain, repair, PM and calibrate in accordance with accepted standards the following: Heating Vent Air Conditioning Systems ( HVAC ), Chiller Systems, NH3 Refrigeration Systems, Refrigeration Appliances, and "Systems" (includes the system or unit and all associated controls, such as gauges, flow switches, recorders, solenoids, valves, etc.). Must have knowledge of refrigeration, instrumentation and electrical theory in order to check the performance of refrigeration systems by means of test equipment. Must be able to adjust refrigeration systems in order to obtain efficient and safe operation. Must have previous experience as a refrigeration technician/mechanic, or other related fields (commercial/industrial). Must have knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment. Must be able to use laptop computers and associated PLC software to troubleshoot electronic and instrumentation problems. You must have desktop computer skills and be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office. the RSCA and RSCB are not training classification Required Education, Experience, Skills High School diploma or Equivalent Pay Information This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
